Nellie checks out our chickens

Bill Sewell, restaurant and cafe creator send Nellie, manager from his Michaelhouse Cafe, Cambridge to visit our chickens at Springfield Poultry last week. Bill asks his staff to come and experience for themselves the free range life of our chickens. They really are pampered chicks, warm and snug in enormous, spacious barns at night and out in the fields all day until dusk. Our poultry is slow grown, the way nature intended. Wings are flapped, sun on their backs, happy days. No clipped beaks or urine soaked sore bottoms here. No nasty fast growing hormone injections either.
