If you like dark meat on the bone, try our Free Range Oyster Cut Chicken Thighs. We often get asked what Oyster cut thighs are. Oyster cut, put simply means only part of the bone is left in the whole thigh. This cut of the meat does not include the backbone, which is what differentiates it from our Free Range Whole Chicken Thighs. Why they're called Oyster cut thighs remains a mystery for us. Many say because they are oyster shaped and this is where the name orignated.
All our Free Range and Organic Chickens are premium and high welfare. We hand rear them on our farm where they have the best animal husbandary from our experienced stock men. Alongside this our birds have a happy outdoors. Where they have dawn to dusk access to our Herefordshire fields where they are free to roam, graze and forage.
