Our pastured beef is the result of time, care, and respect — for the land, the animal, and the craft of butchery. We take pride in honoring the whole animal, ensuring that every cut, from the celebrated to the unexpected, is given the attention it deserves.
Alongside the exquisitely tender prime cuts, you’ll discover a range of distinctive selections: the richly marbled chuck from the neck, the deeply savoury hanger steak, and other rare finds that embody true depth of flavour.
Each cut is a reflection of our philosophy — nothing wasted, everything valued. After all, there may be many sirloins on a steer, but only two cheeks and one tail.
About Our Beef
We have a small mixed herd of 100 percent pasture-fed native breeds – Ruby Red Devons, Red Polls and Beef Shorthorns. They spend most of the year outdoors grazing and when they come into the barn for the winter, they eat only hay, which we cut from our meadows in late summer.

Our organic beef is farmed to strict Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G) standards. We use a local, small-scale abattoir and the meat is butchered on-site in our SALSA approved facility.

Here at Haye Farm, our aim is to make a positive difference to the land. We see ourselves as custodians of this corner of East Devon, and so we farm in a way that increases biodiversity, nurtures the ecosystem that we’re part of and provides for future generations.
