Organic Pork

Organic Free-Range Pork from a Local Farm – Haye Farm

Roast pork with apple sauce and crisp, golden crackling; hearty bangers and mash; or the irresistible salt and savour of a bacon sandwich — just the thought is enough to make mouths water.

Our pork comes from our own herd and from Challon’s Combe Organics, a Devonshire Pasture for Life dairy farm that raises outdoor-reared pigs using the same careful, high-welfare methods we do. The pigs are grown slowly and spend their lives outdoors, free to root, wallow, and forage as nature intended.

This natural lifestyle produces pork that’s juicy, succulent, and deeply flavoursome — the kind that turns any meal into something worth savouring, and always leaves you reaching for seconds.

About Our Pork

Our rare breed Gloucester Old spot and Oxford sandy and black pigs are free range with plenty of space to root and forage. The large amount of exercise and their access to fresh pasture gives their meat excellent flavour and texture with good layer of fat throughout the muscle.

Our organic pork is farmed to strict Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G) standards. We use a local, small-scale abattoir and the meat is butchered on-site in our SALSA approved facility.

Here at Haye Farm, our aim is to make a positive difference to the land. We see ourselves as custodians of this corner of East Devon, and so we farm in a way that increases biodiversity, nurtures the ecosystem that we’re part of and provides for future generations.
